About Us

The Boston and Vicinity Club are women who are committed and dedicated toward improving the quality of life in the African-American community and the greater community of Boston, MA where we reside.  We welcome you to our website and we look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at one of our events and programs.

Our membership includes Entrepreneurs, Educators, Financial Advisors, Executives, Health Care Professionals, Consultants, Legal and Government Professionals and Retirees.

For more than forty years, the members of the Boston & Vicinity Club have made significant and extremely meaningful contributions in the Greater Boston area. Our sincere commitment and dedication toward improving the quality of life has enabled us to provide much needed support to the elderly, youth and disadvantaged in our own communities. We strive to ensure that appropriate civic and social action is taken to eliminate inequality and injustice for all.

OUR MISSION is to promote and protect the interests of African American business and professional women; to serve as a bridge for young people seeking to enter business and the professions; to improve the quality of life in the local and global communities; and to foster good fellowship.

Through action of our National Initiatives - HEED: Health, Education, Economic Development and national mandates we provide education for entrepreneurial development; award scholarships to our youth; services to strengthen the foundation of our families through health education and resources; and a commitment to impacting social, civic and economic issues to improve our quality of life puts us on the frontlines in helping our community.

The Boston & Vicinity Club sees itself as one of the many organizations working to "Move Massachusetts Forward"!
